00:00Every February of each year, National Arts Month is celebrated.

00:04It is based on the Presidential Proclamation No. 683

00:08passed by former President Corazon Aquino.

00:11What are the activities for this day?

00:20Today is National Arts Month.

00:22That's why the National Commission for Culture and the Arts will hold a program

00:27where the goal is to show the Filipino spirit and soul through the arts.

00:38The month of the arts has a theme of the arts, spirit and soul.

00:42As the month of the arts begins, the NCCA prioritizes the occasion

00:48of the seven arts, music, dance, opera, pantheon of visual arts, architecture and film

00:56and after this, there will be a guided tour in the Museo de Intramuros.

01:00At 6 p.m., the Metropolitan Theater or Met Fasad will be lit

01:05where the Philippine Art Deco, which is an architectural style, will be shown.

01:10For the program, the Manila City Band, Tondo Drumbeaters and PMU Kislap Sining will perform.

01:18Based on the Presidential Proclamation No. 683 in 1991,

01:22the National Commission for Culture and the Arts will hold the first celebration of National Arts Month.

01:33Later, NCCA Chair Victorino Mapamanalo and Miss Universe 2018 and NCCA Arts Ambassador Catriona Gray

01:44will start the program later at 8 a.m.
