00:07crime against a part-time actor at the Ayer Kero Sessions Court on Thursday.
00:13According to the charge, 42-year-old Saril Sarip allegedly committed an unnatural act
00:19by sexually assaulting the 18-year-old male victim without consent, which caused fear
00:24and distress to the victim.
00:26The incident occurred around 4.15pm on January 17 at the accused's hair salon in Ayer Kero.
00:33He was charged under Section 377C of the Penal Code, which carries a prison sentence of five
00:39to twenty years, and whipping upon conviction.
00:43The court set bail at 5,000 ringgit with one surety.
