00:28the ocean in the north coast of Kagayaan, particularly the Kalayan group of islands.
00:35The Babuyan Marine Corridor is the breeding ground or place where whales breed, particularly Humbuck whales.
00:44According to BFAR Regional Director Angel Encarnacion,
00:48it is important to protect the so-called ocean because the role played by whales
00:55and other fish that can be found here in the marine ecosystem.
01:00The partnership aims at protecting, of course, the Humbuck whales in the Babuyan Marine Corridor
01:10with focus along Santa Ana waters and projects, of course, expected to foster environmental awareness
