00:00Fridian Jamieson, who's 27 years old, appeared before the magistrates here at

00:04Hafford West this afternoon wearing a grey sweatshirt. He's charged with the

00:09attempted murder of an infant. Devon Powys police released a statement on

00:15Saturday night confirming that they were called to an address in the rural

00:19village of a Verwig near Cardigan on Wednesday the 15th of January following

00:25concerns about the welfare of an infant. Now an infant was taken immediately to

00:31hospital and is in a critical condition and the court heard today that the

00:36victim in this case has suffered catastrophic and life-threatening

00:41injuries. Fridian Jamieson was remanded in custody by the magistrates here in

00:46Hafford West and the case was transferred to Swansea Crown Court. There

00:51was no application for bail. He'll appear before Swansea Crown Court on the

00:5621st of February.
