00:00One day, our dog, Lila, started sniffing this baby bird

00:04crawling across the sidewalk.

00:05I honestly did not know if she would survive or not.

00:11So I just began researching anything I could find

00:13about raising baby pigeons.

00:15Oh, my.

00:17We started getting stronger day by day.

00:20And I was planning to release her to the wild.

00:33Lila and Peeper have such a fun relationship.

00:42The way I look at it is it's like a human sibling

00:46relationship, where they're not so much cute and cuddly,

00:49and more just tolerate each other.

00:51They'll get jealous of each other.

00:53They'll fight.

00:54They'll chase each other back and forth.

01:00One thing that Peeper loves is taking baths.

01:03If she sees running water, she's going in it.

01:06She loves, loves taking baths.

01:09My partner and Peeper have a pretty cute relationship,

01:21where she'll cuddle him and kiss him.

01:23She's pretty obsessed with him.

01:27And though I'm the one that raised her,

01:29and I'm so obsessed with her, she'll

01:31always choose him before me.

01:34Did I ever think I would have a pigeon as a pet?

01:38No.

01:41Peeper means everything to me.

01:45I love her so much.
