00:03conference, there are a ton and everybody is younger than 30

00:07years old. Mahomes, of course, is the gold standard. 15

00:10playoff wins, three Lombardi trophies, Josh Allen, six

00:13playoff wins trying to get to a Super Bowl. Joe Burrow has

00:17played in a Super Bowl, has been highly successful in the

00:20years he has been healthy and led the Bengals to the post

00:23season. Lamar Jackson trying to change the narrative as well.

00:27Justin Herbert, only two playoff appearances, but two playoff

00:31disasters, if you will buy or sell DRS focusing on those

00:36bolts. The Chargers can realistically win the AFC next

00:40season.

00:41I'm going to sell that next year. I am. But if you're asking

00:44this question, which I know we're not doing, we'll get back

00:46to the original question, if that makes sense in a second

00:48year. In the future, I do think they're going to win a Super

00:49Bowl. I do. But next year, I don't think it's we're ready

00:51yet. Because the one thing we need to see is a true number

00:54one wide receiver, love Lab McConkie, operate out of the

00:56pocket, destroy teams, but give him some help on the outside,

00:59which they don't have. Go out and get a true running back.

01:01Did you see some of the teams this year really elevate their

01:03time? Philadelphia Eagles go out and get Saquon Barkley,

01:06dominant. You see the Baltimore Ravens, Eric Henry, dominant.

01:08Jacobs goes to the Green Bay Packers, dominant on the ground.

01:11Give me one of those players in a horrible offense, they will

01:14use them. Herbert is a good quarterback still learning to

01:16win in big pressure situations. They just don't have enough

01:19players right now. But it's not so much about the Chargers and

01:22their players. Then it's about the rest of the AFC and their

01:25players. Yes, look at the guys that Patrick Mahomes is doing

01:28his prime. You take a look at Lamar Jackson's probably gonna

01:30win a third MVP, Josh Allen right behind him. Those are the

01:33guys you're fighting with just to get not win a Super Bowl just

01:36to get to a Super Bowl. I do think the Chargers future is

01:39bright, but to win it next year, realistically, I don't think is

01:42the case they can win the AFC. And it's not because it's the

01:45Chargers fault. They'll be good next year for me. They'll make

01:47the playoffs. But as I just explained, you have generational

01:51talent still waiting in line in the middle of their prime. I

01:54just don't think it's the Chargers time yet.
