00:00President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. assures the Department of Health and PhilHealth

00:05to provide quick and complete healthcare services to every Filipino.

00:10This is the directive of the President following the concerns of the members of the PhilHealth's Zero Subsidy.

00:17Meanwhile, the Executive Board of the Agriculture Department also issued a statement

00:21assuring that all types of assistance will be delivered to farmers in the middle of the planting season.

00:32President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. wants every Filipino to have access to medical services.

00:38That's why, in the meeting with the Health Department this morning,

00:42the directive of the Executive Board of the DOH became clear.

00:45He should not stop the services of PhilHealth despite the Zero Subsidy for the state-owned health insurer.

00:52Last year, the President will repeat the concerns of the members of PhilHealth

00:58and assured that the services will not be affected.

01:01Even if there is a subsidy, even if there is no subsidy, even if there is a contribution, all of these issues,

01:06the services of PhilHealth will not be reduced.

01:11The payment of PhilHealth will not be reduced in the insurance claim.

01:17In fact, we will increase the services that PhilHealth will provide.

01:24We will increase the payment of insurance claims.

01:29So I would like to just assure everybody, don't forget that the services will be reduced no matter who.

01:37The President also urged the DOH to focus their attention on strengthening the links

01:42so that diseases can be avoided compared to medicines.

01:45President Marcos Jr. also emphasized the importance of digitalizing the DOH

01:50so that the services can be delivered to the Filipinos.

01:53Now is the time for the farmers to plant in the country.

01:56President Marcos Jr. ordered the Department of Agriculture to provide all kinds of assistance to the farmers

02:04so that any obstacles can be avoided this planting season.

02:08At his meeting yesterday with the Agriculture Department and Economic Managers,

02:12the President gave a D.A. that the government should not neglect the support of the farmers.

02:17The Executive Board of the Budget Department also issued a directive

02:20to do the necessary steps to help the farmers,

02:24particularly the timely support of the budgetary support in the agriculture sector.

02:30The D.A. is confident that with the timely and sufficient assistance,

02:34especially from Abono, Decalidad ng mga Binhi, and also from Makabagong Teknologiya,

02:39the farmers can use the higher yields and productivity.
