00:00The government service insurance system or GSIS multi-purpose loan programs achieved a milestone

00:06by disbursing 289 billion pesos to over 1.2 million members. GSIS president and general

00:13manager Vic Veloso says the growth of MPL Flex shows its effectiveness and the demand for the

00:20financial solutions it offers to members. Since it was launched in September 2023,

00:25the program has disbursed 282 billion pesos to some 1,049,246 members which is a significant

00:34increase of 35.5 percent from 208.17 billion pesos in its first year of implementation.
