Former Washington quarterback Joe Theismann has some high praise for Jayden Daniels following the Commanders victory over Tampa Bay.

00:04You have a Super Bowl ring to show for it.

00:08What can you say about what Jaden Daniels is doing?

00:12I, you know, it leaves you speechless.

00:15I mean, he's, you know, he's playing as well

00:18as any quarterback in football,

00:21irrespective of whether you're a rookie

00:23or whether you're a, you know, 10, 12 year vet,

00:25eight year vet, he's playing at a level Lamar Jackson,

00:29Josh Allen, he's playing at that kind of a level.

00:33The games have been suspenseful

00:34where it's all been on his shoulders to make a throw.

00:37The last touchdown he threw last night

00:39was one of the most impressive things I saw

00:42with everything collapsing around him.

00:45He just threw a dart.

00:46And here's the thing,

00:47when you have athleticism like he does,

00:50when you have the ability to run like he does,

00:53it takes an incredible amount of discipline

00:56to stay in the pocket

00:57and not be affected by everything that is happening

01:00within this little three yard space around you.

01:04Most guys just take off and go.

01:07You know, I call it seeing ghosts.

01:09They think they feel pressure, but they have time.

01:11Jaden doesn't.

01:13You know, and his elusiveness is something,

01:16I mean, I could put a list of 10 things,

01:1915 things up and say, he does this, he does this,

01:22he does this, he does this, and check every one of them.

01:25I mean, he's just, he's a very, very special talent.

01:28And you know, to me as a rookie,

01:30I think he's a generational talent.
