Four killed in crash on Leach Highway south of Perth

Four people have been killed in a fiery crash on a major highway south of Perth. Police closed Leach Highway in the early hours of this morning to clear debris from the road.

00:00A crash did occur this morning on this major highway, Leech Highway, and it's claimed the

00:07lives of four people.

00:09It was a head-on collision between a taxi and a four-wheel drive.

00:13The driver of the Toyota RAV4 died at the scene, and the 58-year-old male taxi driver

00:19died, along with his two female passengers, who were 56 and 81.

00:23Now, police were called out here at around about half past three, and when they arrived,

00:28they found one of the cars fully alight.

00:31There was a big police presence here at the scene, and both of the cars had been burnt

00:37out in the incident, with one looking like it had rolled over just here.

00:42Now, that has now been cleared, with both vehicles gone.
