Melbourne hit by summer storm with heavy rain, flash flooding, and power outages

Melbourne has been drenched as a summer storm dumped heavy rain on the city and surrounding areas. The system caught many by surprise, causing flash flooding and leaving thousands of homes without power in its wake.
