00:00When Hardy Nazari was rescued on Wednesday, his friends said he looked fit and healthy,
00:07but almost two weeks lost in the bush still took their toll. Hardy spent the past two
00:11nights here at Cooma Hospital being treated for dehydration.
00:16He's now been discharged and left hospital without speaking to media, although he's previously
00:21issued a statement thanking everyone involved in the search for him. A clearer picture is
00:26now emerging of how Hardy's time in Kosciuszko National Park played out.
00:30He was last seen by his friends descending the Hanel Spur Trail at Gee High on Boxing
00:35Day. On New Year's Eve, search teams found rubbish, hiking poles and Hardy's footprint
00:39near Kosciuszko Creek.
00:41The next clue came on January 5, when emergency crews discovered a lighter, camera and remnants
00:47of a campfire near Gee High River. At some point he stopped at Opera House Hut, where
00:52he found a couple of muesli bars. He eventually made his way to Carotha's Saddle, where he
00:57was found by passing hikers on Wednesday.
01:00So it's been quite the journey and no doubt his family is eager to reunite with him.
