00:18He'd been hiking with two friends on the Hanel's Spur Trail, which connects Gee High and Threadbow.
00:24Hardy became separated from the group when he left to take photos.
00:27He's been missing ever since.
00:30With the sun beating down, search crews took their operation to the sky, but dense bushland
00:35and rocky terrain is making it challenging.
00:39Very harsh, very hard, it's hot and dry, there's not a lot of water available, so conditions
00:45can be super tough.
00:48Friends and even strangers have volunteered in the search as they anxiously wait for updates.

01:07Around 50 search and rescue experts have been winched into the rugged bushland to help find

01:13Some of them will camp overnight, but hot and humid conditions on the ground are proving

01:18Whilst we are sort of very hopeful amongst ourselves, we pray, we have to try to keep
01:24ourselves in the hopes that we do find him.
