People on the street: Summer holidays

This is the time of year in which people book their holidays for the summer, we went out into Manchester to ask people where they were eyeing up.

00:00Hi I'm Theo and this is People on the Street. Today I'm out in Manchester asking people

00:03about holidays and that's because this time right now is where most people book their

00:07summer holidays. We want to know what people's favourite destinations are, where they're

00:11planning on getting to this year and what one place they'd love to go more than anywhere

00:15else.

00:16At the moment I've got nowhere booked but I want to book Greece. I'm going to book Portugal

00:22soon and my dream location was the Dominican Republic but I went there last year.

00:28I'm not going on holiday this year but I'm hoping to go on a ski season in France in

00:32October with my girlfriend. We were thinking of Canada but now we're thinking more France.

00:37I want to go to San Francisco. I'm a big basketball fan, I like to go to St. Warrior so that's

00:42my dream location.

00:44I haven't planned anything just yet but I'm thinking of going to New York in the summer.

00:49I feel like I'm not seeing it in the summer time, I've always happened to go in the winter

00:53because everyone's like Christmas in New York but I want to see Central Park in the summer

00:57when it's all green.

00:58Yeah that is cute.
