Wodonga's Hereford and Euro weaners 'keep up with' Angus prices

00:00Feeder steers, excellent, you know all these Riverina feedlots chasing, everyone's chasing a bit of weight,

00:03colours didn't matter so much but a majority of our good regular feeder weighted 330 to 430, 450

00:09kilo cattle making over four dollars, four dollars fives and eights and tens. Our usual suspects in

00:14our very very well presented fancy, what we call fancy Hereford cattle for those Bullock fatteners

00:18down here, exceptional once again out to four dollars fifties and sixties, most of those cattle making

00:23four dollars fifteen to four thirty, five and forty. Heifers were good, as once again anything that had

00:28some weight, if you're 380 kilos or better the feedlots are into them. A northern feedlot was

00:32operating on the cattle that had the weight, especially about a Bovillis and a pre-tested

00:36empty certificate. You know the middle run of heifers obviously just going to backgrounders

00:40so not a huge spike in prices there but still making 315 to 440. Basically we've had a good

00:45day, still exceeds the expectations, as I said a feature runs a cutter we're very very happy with

00:49and the feeder job good.
