Solid start to Wodonga weaner sales

A total of 923 cattle were yarded at the Northern Victoria Livestock Exchange.

00:00We saw a good contingent of buyers from our local area but also stretching through into

00:04northern New South Wales and a little bit of southern Queensland presence and support as well.

00:09Steer sale wise our feeder steers four to five kilo sort of range made up to $3.90 thereabouts

00:17and the weaner steers to only the 3.30 or 40 kilo made. The top of the top of those steers

00:23made out to about 4.30 so that was pretty consistent and good result across the board

00:28the 3.30 to 4 kilo weight range so especially if our angus make closer to $3.75, $3.80

00:38such a kilo but that was pretty consistent and right across the board at about $2.70 or $2.80

00:45kilo there's a better lot of efforts that are made in that $3.70, $3.80 vicinity.
