Calderón happy with solid Rovers performance at Cambridge

Bristol Rovers Head Coach Iñigo Calderón has made clear that he was proud of the performance his side put in to earn three points away at Cambridge United. Daniel Wales reports.

00:15the drop zone in League One, currently occupied by Crawley Town in 21st place, with the Gas

00:21in 20th on 25 points. Calderon was very happy with the performance put out by his side during

00:29the match and knew it had to be a well-rounded performance to cope with the pitch that they

00:33were playing on. And whilst the game was not a classic by any means, Calderon was certainly

00:39satisfied with the determination that his squad showed to get the three points. It has

00:44been a long time coming since Calderon took up the post of manager at Bristol Rovers,

00:50but fans of the Gas will now hope that this win inspires confidence for the side to kick

00:54on up the League One table.
