00:00And at this point, let's talk about the programs of the current administration here in Mr. President on the Go.

00:24First of all, ladies and gentlemen, the successful privatization of Ninoy Aquino International Airport, or NIA,

00:31shows the effective strategic infrastructure investment of the administration of President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr.

00:39The NIA is slowly becoming a model of comfort and efficiency.

00:44In fact, a holiday traveler experienced a seamless airport processing that only lasted less than 30 minutes

00:52away from the long queues and outdated facilities.

00:57These changes are part of the commitment of President Marcos Jr. to modernize the 76-year-old airport.

01:06This transformation was followed by the decision of President Marcos Jr.

01:12to give the rehabilitation and management of the airport to the new NIA Infrastructure Corporation,

01:18a consortium led by San Miguel Corporation.

01:22Within three months, the Public-Private Partnership Project resulted in streamlined processes,

01:27reduced congestion, and a more affordable travel experience for travelers.

01:31As President Marcos Jr. said, this is the transformation of his dream for every Filipino traveler.

01:37The desire is for every trip to be seamless, for every process to be convenient,

01:42and for every experience to reflect the care and commitment of a country that is invested in its people.

01:47One of the improvements is the enhanced security system,

01:50the installation of baggage screening before immigration counters,

01:53and the biometric flight-to-gate systems that will optimize the passenger flow.

01:57There are also additional lanes in the arrival areas and the curbside infrastructure has been expanded.

02:02Rehabilitation of the airport continues.

02:04The modernization of the NIA is more than just an infrastructure achievement.

02:08This is a legacy project that reflects the efforts of President Marcos Jr.

02:12to improve the comfort of every traveler.
