00:00Well, the Patriots in pole position to hold on to that

00:03first overall pick a franchise that desperately needs to build

00:07up talent across the roster, even with a franchise quarterback

00:11to build around in Drake may just needed to lose at home

00:15against Buffalo. They win. So the Patriots will not draft

00:19first overall rather fourth, and they'll have a new head coach

00:23that will influence the calls of what they do. Because of New

00:27England's win on Sunday, Tennessee first overall pick the

00:31Titans at number one, the Browns number two, the Giants number

00:36three, and the Jags round out the top five, all 18 picks one

00:42through 18 have been determined based on those teams that did

00:46not qualify for the postseason within the NFL. But Donnie, it's

00:51rather simple. When you look at the top five, three teams need a

00:55quarterback in a draft right now that is perceived to only

00:59have two that will really go in the top five, the Titans and the

01:04Browns in pole position to draft their quarterbacks of the future

01:08for their franchises.

01:10Yeah, good for them. But also when you started the season, I

01:12don't think too many of us on our bingo cards had the Titans

01:15and the Browns one in two, right? You're looking at the

01:17Titans through we didn't think they would be a great football

01:20team. But the way they spent their money at some key

01:22positions, like you know what, they're gonna hang around, they

01:24want to see what will love us has 6789 10 wins, we'll see if

01:27they can get to the playoffs. They were terrible this year,

01:30the Cleveland Browns with the Sean Watson and all the talent

01:32they surrounded him with, they were hoping he could finally put

01:35it together. Even if he didn't, then what did that mean? 89,

01:38maybe 10 wins, it just didn't work out in their favor, they

01:40end up to the teams that we probably felt might be juggling

01:43around there would be the Giants and the Patriots to the team

01:46that really needed to finish one until you figured may have missed

01:50their opportunities. Will they get quality football players?

01:52Yes, but just like in any sport, unless you're getting the most

01:55important position out there, which is quarterback, nothing

01:59really matters at this point. And I did see some Giants fans

02:02creep up and say, Oh, it's no big deal. You can always trade

02:04up to one and two and get your quarterback really. So you want

02:07to cost yourself a first round pick and more just to move up

02:10when all you had to do was lose football games, you weren't

02:13supposed to win down the stretch. And you could acclaim

02:15those spots yourself. If you're asking for the most egregious

02:18win, it had to be the Patriots on Sunday, it really did. Like

02:21Buffalo didn't throw out a Carson Wentz s Kansas City

02:25effort was like, we're not even trying to be here. We don't have

02:28anybody playing in this game. They actually put forward a

02:31decent effort here and you still beat them at home. Imagine

02:33being a Patriots fan going to that game where the only thing

02:36you're cheering for is a Buffalo Bills win. So you could say this

02:39season was awful. We fired our head coach, we got the number

02:42one pick, we might have a semblance of some fun over the

02:45next couple years watching this all play out because you didn't

02:48need the quarterback for the Patriots. But you could have

02:50turned that number one into a windfall to surround that

02:53quarterback with some actual talent. So it is embarrassing

02:56the way some of these teams did play out their season even more

02:59embarrassing how they just couldn't continue their

03:01embarrassment over week 17 and 18 to take losses.
