00:00Over 3,000 people gathered outside the Palace of Justice today in a show of solidarity with

00:11former Prime Minister Najib Razak despite police restrictions.

00:16The crowd, including supporters from PAS, Brisato, UMNO and NGOs, arrived by 6.30 AM

00:24displaying banners with messages like Hashtag Justice for Najib and Hashtag Bebas Najib.

00:31PAS Secretary General Taqiuddin Hassan, Brisato Deputy President Hamza Zainuddin and PAS Vice

00:37President Ahmad Samsuri Mokhtar were among the politicians spotted inside the court complex.

00:43UMNO Youth Chief Dr. Akmal Saleh also showed up for the rally.

00:49However, at least three buses of Najib's supporters were denied entry to the administrative

00:54capital earlier this morning after being stopped at police roadblocks en route to the rally.

01:00The Court of Appeal will today hear Najib's application for leave to adduce fresh evidence

01:05in his appeal to serve the remainder of his jail term under house arrest.
