00:00So how do you feel about the Rams decision making heading into this game?

00:03Again, it's a little bit different once you already have that home playoff game secured

00:07You can probably say to yourself, you know what we're gonna be home

00:11I don't think you really want to pick your opponent at that point because rest in the nfl is so important

00:16It's why we always talk about hey coming off the bye week

00:18This team's played four straight weeks. This team is awful

00:20Bye, that is a massive advantage even more massive at the end of the year

00:24Like you can arrest a veteran like matthew stafford puka naku is that the aches the pains all season long an extra week?

00:30We don't even know we're seeing out of cooper coupling this season

00:32Who knows if he was injured but getting him an extra week off and also understanding this when you pull yourself out of the equation

00:38You're no longer game planning for that week

00:40You're on to the playoffs and already getting your entire organization

00:43Set on maybe one or two football teams that you can pinball an eye when maybe that other organization doesn't get the same opportunity

00:50Yeah last year they had to go right to the end right they they were trending towards the end of the regular season this year

00:56They they get the opportunity to take a buy and I agree with donny because they're a mass unit

01:00Basically cooper cup is basically on one leg. So is puka and matt stafford could always use extra rest

01:06So for that team an aging team in certain areas

01:10I think the rest is important for them matching up in terms of whoever they match up

01:27And maybe some of the tight ends. I mean that's a potential pretty good

01:30Look, but I still think maybe you get points in this matchup

01:33I took the rams team total at 14 and a half jimmy garoppolo though. Again. We talk about backup quality

01:38He certainly has it last year, uh with carson wentz going out there

01:41We saw the rams win that football game

01:43We saw them score 21 points in that football game

01:46And I I think that garoppolo can go out there and give a similar look for seattle

01:50The season is over, right? So i'm not sure you you know, gino's gonna be throwing all game

01:54He's he got one of the incentives, uh for the day is tied to some gino smith numbers

01:59So you'll see gino throwing I really like the rams team total at 14 and a half minus 112

02:06I just I I find it very fascinating to see how the la rams are going to be going about this where

02:44Like mcveigh like that is a one-two combination that'll take their chances with anybody

02:48Absolutely, and it's a smart decision when you have the key veteran players that could really need a break

02:53That's what you're going to do because you are refreshed and you're at home

02:56You don't have to travel the following you have to go across country

02:59The other team's got to go cross country to come play you whenever I look at the future of a team

03:04It's can you win the super bowl or not? And how do you put your best foot forward here going after it?

03:09That's the way to do it

03:10So for me always rest above unless you're looking to actually play a team like the texans you think you can beat

03:16Otherwise forget about it. Yeah, we'll see how that game plays out, but it's interesting different approaches curious

03:23Yep again, and I think it is what it will there will be a level of confirmation bias
