00:08are likely to be from a foreign religious group, says the National Evangelical Christian

00:14Speaking to FMT, its Secretary-General, Rev. Andy Chee, said the trio are most probably

00:20not members of a church in Malaysia and expressed confidence that this was an isolated case.

00:27Separately, the Malaysian Consultative Council of Buddhism, Christianity, Hinduism, Sikhism

00:33and Taoism said it supported the police investigation into the trio.

00:38MCCBC-HST President Tan Ho Chiao said the propagation of faiths to non-Muslims should

00:44be only done within houses of worship and urged caution against conducting such activities

00:50in public to ensure religious harmony.

00:54Police are looking for the three men who allegedly distributed the leaflets in front

00:57of a supermarket in Desa Setapa.

01:00A video of two of them being confronted by a member of the public had gone viral.

01:05The case is being investigated under Section 298A of the Penal Code for causing disharmony

01:10on religious grounds.
