00:21In a statement, he said these celebrations foster respect, understanding, and unity,
00:26enhancing Malaysia's shared experiences.
00:29Takyuddin said PAS embraced and celebrated the enriching aspects of these celebrations,
00:34adding that they helped build a higher quality and more moral society grounded in noble and
00:39sacred values.
00:41He acknowledged the common Abrahamic roots of Muslims and Christians, highlighting shared
00:45beliefs in monotheism, respect for prophets, reverence for Mary, life after death, fasting,
00:52and charity.
00:53Takyuddin also said the party believed that the moral strength of both communities is
00:58crucial in building a just and harmonious world free from war, hatred, and injustice.
