00:00More than 8,000 Agrarian Reform Beneficiaries received the title in Western Visayas in 2024.

00:07More than Php 1.5 billion of the Agrarian Debt has been paid by the government.

00:14J.P. Hervas of Radyo Pilipinas, Iloilo, has news for the country.

00:21More than 8,400 Agrarian Reform Beneficiaries or ARBs in Western Visayas

00:26received more than Php 13,000 in the CLAU, or more than Php 1,300 hectares of land, in 2024.

00:35According to the Department of Agrarian Reform Western Visayas,

00:38more than Php 10,000 of this title was distributed to Negros Occidental,

00:42while more than Php 3,000 titles were given to ARBs from the islands of Panay and Guimaras.

00:48The distribution of most of the titles was initiated by President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr.

00:54in his visit to Bago City, Negros Occidental in April and Pasi City, Iloilo in September.

01:00The government also initiated the distribution of the Certificate of Condemnation and Release of Mortgage, or COCROM,

01:06to ARBs in accordance with RA 11953, or the New Agrarian Emancipation Act, passed by the President.

01:13More than Php 778.5 million of the total debt of more than 7,400 ARBs from Capiz, Guimaras, and Iloilo

01:22was distributed by the government.

01:23The COCROM was also distributed to more than 6,100 ARBs in Negros Occidental

01:29with Php 816 million in total debt.

01:33In 2025, the government's agricultural assistance will continue,

01:37especially since the President believes that the success of every farmer is the success of every Filipino.
