00:00You mentioned before the Lions and the Vikings and of course they have such an

00:03important week 18 matchup coming up to determine not only who wins the NFC

00:08North but who gets that first round by that number one overall seed in the NFC

00:12going into the postseason and I've been saying for months you know Bill's Lions

00:17Bill's Lions that's the Super Bowl I believe we will get it's the Super Bowl

00:21that I certainly want as a fan I think it'd be wildly entertaining but what I'm

00:25wondering is you know that by week it does matter if somehow and I don't

00:29believe this will happen but it could if somehow Minnesota does win this week

00:3318 matchup and we see Detroit have to play in the opening round they don't get

00:38that rest already dealing with a bunch of injuries the Lions does the

00:42possibility of Dan Campbell's squad advancing all the way become just a

00:48little bit more unrealistic do you look at the Lions differently than if they

00:52get the one seed what becomes a much greater challenge it when the Steelers

00:58won the Super Bowl in 05 they were the first team that was seated at the bottom

01:03of the bracket they were a six at that at that they were the six seed even

01:06though they were a double-digit win team because again the nature of the playoff

01:11seating they were they were the lowest team in the bracket and they had to win

01:15at Cincinnati at Indianapolis and then at Denver in order to advance to the

01:21Super Bowl so it is a daunting challenge and it does make it more difficult and

01:25it kind of makes it more annoying when you're a team like Minnesota or Detroit

01:30we're talking about your team like Detroit that's been fantastic all year

01:35and they make you go on the road it's it's ridiculous and it's so I think I

01:40think there's a little bit of annoyance at that as well that you have to go

01:43prove it against a team that clearly isn't as accomplished as you are and

01:48because of the playoff format still existing as it does you have to do that

01:53so it would be whoever has to take that that lesser seat in this case is at a

02:00significant disadvantage without a doubt there's a lot to play for in that Lions
