00:00The dog unit consists of various disciplines. It's really rewarding, we put an awful lot

00:05of time and effort into training these dogs and when we get the results that come through

00:09it's really really a real high to see that the dogs are doing what they're trained to

00:13do and the benefit to the constabulary. They are vitally important to all of those specialist

00:19search areas. So the exercise we're doing here, this is a burnt out water cabin to simulate

00:25a fire in the house. The joint operations unit dog section is a key element in the

00:32force's relentless pursuit of criminals. You may not see the work that they're doing but

00:36they are key aspects in helping us support the communities and keeping you safe.
