00:00Despite the bad weather, thousands of devotees participated in the walk of thanksgiving

00:06which was held by the entire team of Nazareno.

00:08This is Denise Osorio reporting for Sandro.

00:12More than 60,000 devotees worshiped the Basilica of Jesus Nazareno

00:17or better known as Chiapo Church the whole night for the annual thanksgiving walk.

00:22The procession started at 12 p.m. from the church

00:26and it went around the surrounding streets.

00:30According to the technical advisor of Chiapo Church, Alex Erasga,

00:34they were prepared for the procession whether it would rain or not.

00:37We decided that whether it would rain or not, we will continue the procession.

00:42According to the direction of our parish priest, we will continue the procession

00:47as long as it does not rain heavily.

00:50Fortunately for us, the rain did not pour down.

00:55We were able to receive a lot of rain.

00:58Erasga also gave a blessing and an offering of thanks

01:03to all those who participated in this thanksgiving procession for the whole year.

01:09To all the blessings we received, to all the prayers that our Lord God gave us,

01:15to those who believe and ask for help.

01:20After the procession, the procession returned to the inside of Chiapo Church

01:24and it will wait here for the next procession

01:27that will be held in Translation 2025 on January 9 of the next year.
