00:00From the Philippine News Agency, Finance Secretary Ralph Recto said that PhilHealth's benefit package will be added for the first 10 patients.

00:11His goal is for a legitimate member of PhilHealth to use the funds correctly.

00:16However, PhilHealth's 2025 National Budget will have an unexpected subsidy signed by President Ferdinand R. Marquez Jr.

00:25Budget Secretary Amina Pangandaman explained that the President can only remove line items or funds, but he cannot add them.

00:36Recto said that it is possible to add benefits to PhilHealth because it has a reserve of funds worth Php 280 billion.
