00:07Back-to-back wins for the first time this season for PNE

00:11and afterwards the manager said it's his favourite winner's boss yet. Can you see why?

00:17Yeah, I can see why. I thought they edged the first half with superior application

00:25and of course taking the lead with another six-yard box goal from Emile Rees.

00:31A scruffy finish perhaps, but that should be labelled as a compliment to centre-forwards

00:36where other players in positions don't recognise anything they do as scruffy as anything other

00:44than an insult. But when it ends up in the back of the opposition's goal, it ends up being a great

00:51finish from close range under a little bit of pressure and I think the ball from McCann

00:57and the assist with the headed ball back across from Watmore should also not be forgotten.

01:03And as I say, just for me, superior application from North End as opposed to Sheffield Wednesday

01:09who, just like in the first game at Hillsborough, seemed to be playing with a little bit of vanity

01:15and not much purpose. I did think that Barry Bannon had too much of the ball and I didn't

01:21think there was enough pressure on him to stop him passing the ball forward, but obviously

01:25there's many trying to stop him do that over a number of years and not being successful.

01:30But eventually I thought McCann wore him down in the game, got an assist for himself and we

01:36gradually saw Barry Bannon move further and further back almost into the back line

01:42in a non-threatening position. I obviously then did expect Sheffield Wednesday to get better

01:47after half-time, as they did at Hillsborough and they did do. And for me, there was far too many,

01:56there was far too much impetus and encouragement for Sheffield Wednesday

02:00being allowed by North End before the Josh Windas goal. But thankfully, almost what felt like quite

02:09quickly, North End, the whole team and the supporters wrestled the game back onto their

02:14terms and I'm sure Paul Heckingbottom has probably not felt as comfy in the last 50

02:19minutes of a fixture this season as I was watching it.
