00:00Mufti Perlis Asri Zainul Abidin said that the reason for Halwat's wrongdoing in Halayat Ramai

00:06was merely a choice of a single ruler, not the law of Allah and Rasul.

00:10According to him, it is under the decree of the government which is probably wrong and correct.

00:17Asri explained that for the Halwat case, there is no stipulation that the perpetrator should be prosecuted in Halayat Ramai.

00:24He even said that the reason for such a case in Halayat Ramai

00:27was due to the violation of the conditions that require the closure of the private property of an individual.

00:34On Friday, a man became the first individual to be prosecuted in Halayat for the crime of Halwat

00:40when he committed the crime in Masjid Al-Muqtafi Bilal Shah, Kuala Terengganu, Terengganu.

00:47We have always reported that the government of Terengganu said that it was committed to committing the crime

00:53even though it received widespread criticism.
