00:07Despite the rain, shoppers flocked to area on Christmas Eve in search of bargains.

00:15Vendors, however, noticed slower sales this year due to online competition and bad weather.

00:22To attract more customers, prices were lowered, with toys being sold at 3 for 100 pesos and

00:28kids' clothes for as low as 50 pesos each.

00:31Fruits for Noche Buena were also sold at a discounted price, attracting budget-conscious

00:37shoppers.

00:38Meanwhile, police reported no untoward incidents, with 1,200 officers deployed across Manila

00:46to ensure public safety during the holidays.
