00:00House Quad Committee Lead Chair Rep. Robert A. Barbers insisted there is enough basis

00:05for the recommendation they made in their progress report.

00:09This was the lawmakers' response to criticisms to the recommendation, particularly to the

00:13filing of charges of crimes against humanity against former President Rodrigo Duterte and

00:18several others.

00:19Rep. Barbers added there was no politics involved in the Quad Company's decision and the joint

00:25panel only based the recommendation on the evidence and testimony they have gathered

00:29so far.

00:30I emphasize that there's no politically motivated information that we shared.
