There's a lot less grumpy than there used to be, isn't there?
00:02
Yeah, but we're watching the gate.
00:04
Yeah, we're watching the gate.
00:06
Hello guys!
00:08
She's going, she's going, she's going.
00:10
How you doing guys?
00:12
Good, thank you.
00:14
Cool, so we're at, what's your school called?
00:16
Longlands Primary School.
00:18
Longlands Primary in Market Drayton.
00:20
And you've got your own goat?
00:22
You've got a little farm, haven't you?
00:24
What other animals have you got here?
00:26
We've got chickens, guinea pigs and rabbits.
00:28
Wow, and what's your favourite out of all those?
00:30
The goats.
00:32
What's this goat called then?
00:34
This is Leo.
00:36
There's a little one somewhere and she's called Sheila.
00:38
He's very friendly, Leo, isn't he?
00:40
He's had a little treat just as well.
00:42
So he looks lovely, he's got a lovely little beard like that.
00:44
Do you know my class?
00:46
What's that mate?
00:48
Fur class.
00:50
Fur class, good name.
00:52
So Miss, you're headteacher?
00:54
I am.
00:56
Lisa Millington.
00:58
So Miss, we're here because we're doing a special little piece
01:00
because you've done particularly well in your league tables.
01:02
Just fill us in on how you've got on.
01:04
In the end of year six test for last year,
01:06
we have come eighth in Shropshire
01:08
so we're really proud of the achievement of the children
01:10
and the hard work of the adults.
01:12
That's great, isn't it?
01:14
Did I feel something pecking at my leg then?
01:16
Was that a little chicken?
01:18
Naughty little chicken.
01:20
So what do you think about that, guys?
01:22
You've done really well as a school, haven't you?
01:24
Yeah.
01:26
Well done, you should pat yourselves on the back.
01:28
Can you do that?
01:30
Can you pat yourselves on the back?
01:32
I'll give you a pat on the back.
01:34
So I take it part of that reason,
01:36
because you're going above and beyond.
01:38
You can tell that from the animals.
01:40
So we've got lots of opportunities.
01:42
The children,
01:44
they've all been brilliant learners
01:46
but they also get the opportunity
01:48
they come out to our farm,
01:50
they come out to our forest school,
01:52
and all of those opportunities
01:54
help the children to develop in lots of different ways
01:56
which means that by the end of year six
01:58
they're making excellent progress in their learning
02:00
because they're doing really well
02:02
and how they feel about themselves as well.
02:04
Fantastic.
02:06
So what sort of things do you think you guys might like to go on and do
02:08
when you leave school and you're an old man like me?
02:10
What about you, little man?
02:12
What do you want to do when you're older?
02:14
What job would you like, Andre?
02:16
A fireman? A caretaker?
02:18
A footballer?
02:20
We'll go with that.
02:22
And what about you, chicken?
02:24
I would like to be a teacher when I grow up.
02:26
Oh, there you go, miss. Look at that, inspiring the next generation.
02:28
She would be brilliant as well.
02:30
And what about you, little man?
02:32
What do you like to do, do you think?
02:34
When I grow up,
02:36
I want to be Spider-Man.
02:38
Spider-Man? Cool, I like that.
02:40
And what about you, boss?
02:42
I want to be a YouTuber.
02:44
And what about you, young lady?
02:46
I kind of want to be a teaching assistant.
02:48
Look at that, miss. How cool is that?
02:50
Nobody wants to be a goat handler.
02:52
Mind you, you already are, aren't you?
02:54
You've done that.
02:56
That's old news by then.
02:58
Well, awesome work to
03:00
everyone involved.
03:02
Miss, it's a nice little
03:04
thing to get in before Christmas, isn't it?
03:06
Extra little tipple
03:08
for Miss at Christmas.
03:10
Cheers, guys. Well, thank you. Give us a wave.
03:12
Bye, guys.
