00:11Transport Minister Lok Siu Fook said the agreement was in principle,
00:14reiterating that the search would be based on the no-find, no-fee principle.
00:18This means Putrajaya will not have to pay the company anything
00:21unless the aircraft is found.
00:23He described the company's proposal as credible
00:26and merits further examination by the government
00:28as the state of registration for MH370.
00:31He said the Transport Ministry is currently negotiating
00:34the terms and conditions of the agreement with Ocean Infinity
00:37which is expected to be finalised in early 2025.
00:41Ocean Infinity had proposed a new search in a 15,000 square kilometre area
00:46in the Southern Indian Ocean based on the latest data analysis.
