00:05which will provide a gratuity pay for the Government's Contract of Service and Job Order Employees.
00:12According to the Court of Appeal signed by Executive Secretary Lucas Bersamin,
00:167,000 COS and JO Employees who have been working in the government for more than 4 months will be accepted.
00:24This is higher than the previous year, which was only increased to Php 5,000.
00:30It will not exceed Php 6,000 if they have already served for 3 months and lower for 4 months.
00:37They will receive Php 5,000 if they have been working in the government for 2 months and lower for 3 months.
00:44While Php 4,000 for employees with lower employment for 2 months.
00:50Under this order, the COS and JO Employees of National Government Agencies,
00:56SUCs, GOCCs, and Local Water Districts will be paid a gratuity pay
01:02to the qualified COS and JO Employees in the Government for Fiscal Year 2024
01:07not earlier than December 15.
01:11The Budget Department thanked the President for this.
01:16At the same time, the Government will not neglect the COS and JO Employees
01:21especially their contribution to the Government's work.
01:26The Government will not allow the COS and JO Employees to be unemployed this holiday season.
