00:00House Speaker Martin Rumaldes agreed to the need of the Filipinos

00:05to pass the 2025 General Appropriations Bill.

00:37House Speaker Martin Rumaldes defended the distribution of various government aid.

00:44In his final message before the session of the House of Representatives ended,

00:47the House Leader gave a statement that this is a legitimate program

00:50and that the beneficiaries are real people.

00:53To those who are against Ayuda, this administration is ready to show

00:58where every cent that has been allocated for this has gone.

01:02All of this program has a real beneficiary, a real receipt.

01:08There is no notice of disallowance from the Commission on Audit.

01:12The work of the Congress is sure of this fund

01:15and it is certain that it will reach the beneficiaries.

01:20At the same time, Rumaldes also defended

01:22the 2025 General Appropriations Bill of the Congress.

01:26His gate, even though there are people coming and going here,

01:29they are determined to meet the needs of the Filipinos.

01:33We ensure that every sector is supported,

01:36from agriculture to education, from healthcare to infrastructure.

01:42This is not just a budget, it is a blueprint of hope.

01:47In terms of prosperity, Rumaldes said

01:51that the Philippine Health Insurance Corporation, or PhilHealth,

01:54will recommend the payment of the contributions.

01:57This is done through the suspension of premium payments.

02:02If funds remain stable and in surplus,

02:05we will recommend a one-year suspension of premium payments for all paying members.

02:10This will serve as a form of relief to millions of Filipinos

02:14already grappling with inflation and rising prices.

02:19Next year, the Camera will begin an in-depth and fair investigation

02:24on the payment of the PhilHealth Fund.
