Bucs defense scouting report: Can Dallas run against this defensive line?

After previewing the Buccaneers offense yesterday, Bryan Broaddus takes a look at the Bucs defense. Will the Cowboys have success running the ball against a typically strong Tampa Bay defensive line? Find out what Broaddus thinks in the video above.

00:00These guys, the Buccaneers, are going to play nickel 70% of this game against you and they

00:19allow about 5.4 yards of play doing that.

00:23This also, this unit allows the ninth fewest explosive plays as a defense.

00:29They've had some problems with some people, their numbers, the metrics and all that say

00:36that they're not a great, I think this team has had some problems in the secondary because

00:41of injuries.

00:42I know we had Breanna Dix on, but you watch and how they're trying to kind of make up

00:46for some guys.

00:48I think the problem here is that to me they're starting to get some guys back.

00:56Now we'll see if Zachary Safety gets to play, we'll see if he plays.

01:02I'm kind of hearing some things about him that he almost has to be perfect, like physically

01:07like he's a little Udarvish in him that he absolutely has to be feeling it to get out

01:14He was our DNP today.

01:15Yeah, well then that means he's probably not going to play in this football game.

01:19But you're going to get a loaded box against these guys.

01:22That's going to be something.

01:23They had the highest rate in the league when it comes to the loaded box stuff.

01:28And the problem is when Dallas plays against loaded box teams, they don't rush the ball

01:33very well.

01:34Dallas is the fifth fewest yards when teams play loaded box against them and that's even

01:41playing with Dowdle.
