Broaddus reviews the All-22 tape from Cowboys/Raiders in the preseason

Bryan Broaddus has watched the tape from this weekend's Cowboys/Raiders game, and he goes over his standouts in the video above. Who stood out to the former NFL scout? Which corner does he think now has a spot on the Cowboys' roster?

00:00I told you I was going to tell you who played well and who didn't play well in this football

00:18game.

00:19I think Jalen Cropper has brought some receivers back into this thing.

00:24That was bad, huh?

00:26In a way, the fumble didn't help.

00:29They're trying to get these guys to play special teams.

00:31I even say that about Racy McMath, the wide receiver who's trying to get back into this

00:37thing.

00:38He makes a couple of catches and all of a sudden they put him on the punt team as the

00:41flyer.

00:42He's going down the sidelines.

00:43He gets blocked.

00:44Now they have a huge return.

00:45All of a sudden, they change it.

00:48The next guy, the next guy, the next guy.

00:50They're kind of doing that.

00:51I think Cropper has brought some guys back into this mix.

00:56I felt like he had a chance going into this game to really solidify his position.

01:02I don't know if they're going to keep five or six wide receivers here.

01:07That's the issue.

01:08I felt like there were going to be four guys.

01:09I don't know why Durden didn't play any snaps in the game.

01:14He was a guy that felt like he was going to start to compete or was part of this mix.

01:20Cropper's bringing some guys back into the final spot for these wide receivers for his

01:29play.

01:32I don't know if we're any closer to where that needs to be.

01:37The thing with Royce Freeman, I liked what I saw from him running the football.

01:40I thought there was really some nice power with him.

01:43I thought there was the ability to find that hole and then to make that, whether he had

01:48to make a cut or he just had to find a way to get through it and then get up to the

01:53field.

01:54Deuce Vaughn is different running the football.

01:56Now Deuce Vaughn used to be a dance guy.

01:57He used to just dance behind the line of scrimmage.

01:59He doesn't dance anymore.

02:01It's, listen, they've told him, hey, you're going to get the ball and if you see something,

02:07hit it and go.

02:09If you have to spin, okay, you can do that.

02:12But there was a time where Deuce Vaughn used to dance and now it's get three yards and

02:16let's fight for the next play.

02:18Or it's get through the hole and then find a way.

02:20There were some really good combination blocks that he took advantage of in this game where

02:25the guys, the centers, the guards, were able to get up like we were talking about, you

02:29know, with BB and Bass and those guys and him able to follow that and then go up.
