00:00President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. himself said that the public should not be worried even if PhilHealth has zero subsidy.

00:08The President insisted that the agency will give its services next year.

00:15Next, the President promised a priority in strengthening the 2025 national budget for the Filipinos.

00:23Kenneth Pacientes is in the center of the news.

00:27President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. insisted that the priority projects of the government will be funded next year.

00:36That is the reason why the signing of the national budget for 2025 was postponed.

00:42It was first announced that it will be signed tomorrow.

00:45The Chief Executive explained that it still needs to be studied thoroughly.

00:49Especially, there are some changes in the budget request of some government agencies.

00:53And because the proposal was approved by the Congress,

00:56only the veto power of the Chief Executive can be used to control the spending program of the country for 2025.

01:24He also pointed out that the government should be careful on which projects and programs should be prioritized

01:32so that the Filipinos can benefit from it when the country's debt is not increasing.

01:53That is what we will clarify.

01:56It's not as if we don't have a huge budget of savings.

02:06No, we don't.

02:08That's why we need to be very careful because the expenses there,

02:13it's not a lot, but it's a debt.

02:17That's why we need to go to TAMA so that we can pay the debt.

02:27Yesterday, the President helped some government officials to discuss the funding for next year.

02:32According to the PCO, the President will have a series of meetings about this before the 2025 budget is finally signed.

02:40According to the Chief Executive, it will be signed before the end of the year.

02:44When it comes to the PhilHealth budget,

02:46the President insisted that even though there is no subsidy for the budget of the corporation for the next year,

02:52he made up his mind early in the morning

02:55and promised that the services that PhilHealth will provide will not be affected.

02:59This is my guarantee.

03:01My guarantee is very simple.

03:03Even if there is a subsidy, even if there is no subsidy,

03:05even if there is a contribution, all of these issues,

03:09PhilHealth's services will not be affected.

03:14PhilHealth's payment to insurance claims will not be affected.

03:19In fact, we will increase the services that PhilHealth will provide.

03:39He also pointed out that the government plans to increase the services that PhilHealth will provide for the next year.

03:52In 2025, the services that PhilHealth will provide will be even more.

03:58The payment to insurance claims will be even greater.

04:03So, don't worry.

04:05Nothing will be lost in the services that PhilHealth will provide.

04:09We are improving the services that PhilHealth will provide

04:13so that more will be given to the people of the country.
