00:00The Department of Health is sure that PhilHealth Corporation will continue to provide services to the National Health Insurance Agency even without a subsidy from the government.
00:11According to the DOH, our countrymen will continue to benefit from the PhilHealth Benefit Package.
00:17Secretary Ted Hermosa, who is also standing, chaired the PhilHealth Board,
00:22the agency's job is to pay for the health benefits of its members.
00:27In addition, the agency is confident that PhilHealth has enough money to continue and improve the current operation,
00:34not just for the next year, but for the next two or three years.
00:39The agency explained that they have raised Php 463.7 billion in revenue since the end of 2023.
00:48Under the Universal Health Care Act, PhilHealth will also receive a reserve fund of Php 280.6 billion for the two-year value of benefits and other expenses.
01:00Among the newly approved PhilHealth Benefit Packages are Oral Health and Rehabilitation as well as the provision of equipment such as wheelchairs.
