00:00The House Committee on Appropriations and the Enrolled 2025 General Appropriations Bill
00:07that was passed by President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr.
00:10The Supreme Court may have a chance to discuss it.
00:13Bukaske Appropriations Acting Committee Chair, Stella Kimbo.
00:17Mela Lesmora was at the center of the news.
00:22There is no problem with our 2025 GAA.
00:26It is legal.
00:29It is fully enforceable. It is valid.
00:32Because our Enrolled Bill,
00:35meaning the General Appropriations Bill that came from the Congress,
00:41is complete. There is no plan.
00:43Although the allegations about the 2025 National Budget are not yet finished,
00:50the House Committee on Appropriations Acting Chairperson, Stella Kimbo,
00:55said that it is legal and can benefit the Filipinos.
00:59According to Kimbo, the 2025 General Appropriations Act is only political.
01:05She clarified two things.
01:07First, regarding the Enrolled General Appropriations Bill,
01:11the Congresswoman stated that it is complete and there is no plan to pass it to Malacanang.
01:17Second, regarding their bicameral report, Kimbo clarified,
01:23Notwithstanding any typographical errors or any adjustments that are needed as a result of amendments,
01:32the technical staff of both House and Senate are authorized to make all of these necessary corrections.
01:42And just to clarify or to reiterate,
01:47at the point of signing by the bicam members,
01:50all of the appropriations amounts have already been decided upon.
01:57Meaning, all of the corrections to our technical staff,
02:03all of that is already ministerial.
02:05According to the Congresswoman, even if there is an issue in the Supreme Court,
02:10anyone can do this.
02:13That is all the time we have for Pambansang TV in the new Philippines.
