00:00Adam, a fellow friend of the show, Tom Curran, has said that he believes that Mike Vrabel

00:05would be interested in the Patriots' job if it became available.

00:09So I wanted to ask you, A, do you think that's true, but more importantly, going back to

00:12last year, did Mike Vrabel choose to not have another job in the NFL in terms of either

00:18a head coach or a coordinator?

00:19Was there no interest in him?

00:21How did that play out for him after he left Tennessee?

00:25Um, you know, listen, I think that, I think he would have been the guy for the Chargers

00:31if Jim Harbaugh had gotten on a plane to go to Atlanta to follow through on the interview

00:36that he set up, but he didn't, and he took that job, and that was the place that was

00:41the most interested in Vrabel, and I just think the timing last year was wrong.

00:44I think this year that basically just about every team with an opening will have some

00:50level of interest in Mike Vrabel.

00:52That's what I believe will be the case, and I think he's going to be, him and Ben Johnson

00:57will be the bells of the ball, so to speak, and there'll be interest for Aaron Glenn and

01:02for Brian Flores and for Vance Joseph and for Jesse Minter and for other people out

01:11there, but I just think that Vrabel and Ben Johnson are going to command the highest level

01:17of interest, and all we can go by with New England is, I think the crafts have been pretty

01:25clear that they have not been planning a change, they don't want to make a change, they're

01:30not looking to make a change, so, you know, it's moot with Mike Vrabel and New England

01:35right now, unless it's not.

01:38But to me, New England would have to fall apart down the stretch, have more poor showings

01:44like the one it did on Sunday, and there would have to be a change in the thinking

01:48of ownership to even introduce that to being a factor.

01:52Do I think that if the job were open, that he would, it's certainly logical to assume

01:58that.

01:59I mean, he's played there, he knows the organization, knows the city, yeah, I can totally see that,

02:05but it's a moot point right now.
