00:00The Philippine Embassy in Beijing has launched a three-week food festival to showcase the

00:05rich culinary heritage and warm Christmas traditions of the Philippines.

00:10The festival highlights Filipino chef Michel Adriana, who prepared classic Noche Buena

00:16dishes including lechon, kare-kare, mechado, jamon, as well as the Christmas desserts puto

00:22bumbung and bibingka.

00:24In his speech, Philippine Ambassador to China Jaime Flor Cruz encouraged attendees to

00:29explore the Philippines and experience its rich culture and cuisine.

00:34This initiative aimed at strengthening cultural ties and promoting Philippine culinary tourism.

00:40The festival will run at the Grand Hyatt Hotel in Beijing until December 21st.

00:45Meanwhile, the Philippine Embassy also hosted a special Christmas party for the Filipino

00:49community in Beijing filled with games, raffle prizes, and a Noche Buena feast.

00:56The ambassador reassured Filipinos in China of the Embassy's continuing commitment to

01:00provide timely and efficient service.
