00:00To support innovators and the people behind various emerging technologies,

00:04the country hosted the first-ever Philippinext, or Philippines' International Exposition of Technologies,

00:11according to the Technology Application and Promotion Institute of the Department of Science and Technology, or DOSDTAPI.

00:17The event intends to bridge the gap between the technology adapters and innovators.

00:22DOSDTAPI officials said this initiative will help provide exposure for local inventions

00:27and showcase them on the international stage.

00:30This is also in response to the current situation where innovations are being developed

00:34but not commercialized or made accessible to the general public.

00:38Activities at the event to include exhibits and dialogues.

00:42We are recognized by the Philippines in the whole world,

00:47as well as we will be a great-grandfather of our inventions to the market arena and to the end users.

00:54So, in short, magiging useful siya sa pang-araw-araw ng pamumuhay,

00:59not only sa mga Filipino dito sa bansa, but also sa international na narangan ng teknolohiya.
