00:28of the Department of Transportation,

00:37the New Cebu International Container Port Project
00:40is worth P17 billion.
00:42According to the President,
00:43it will help to prevent congestion in Cebu Bay's port.
00:47He will also support the Cebu Bus Rapid Transit Project
00:52for the expected and efficient transport system in Cebuano.
00:56Costing over P28 billion,
00:58this modern bus network will connect key parts of Cebu City,
01:02making daily commuters easier in their commute
01:06and more comfortable.
01:07The President also insisted that tourism in Bohol Province
01:10will be strengthened
01:12through the Bohol-Panglao International Airport
01:15PPP Project Concession Agreement
01:17that will develop the so-called coast
01:19using a fund of P4.5 billion.
01:23According to the Executive Board,
01:25this project is expected to generate P15 billion
01:28in annual income in the first five years,
01:30which will increase to P200 million per year
01:33after the concession period of the project.
01:36But more than just the revenue,
01:38its true success will be the number of lives
01:41that it will change for the better in Bohol.
01:45It is a promise to our beloved people
01:47that they will be the first to benefit
01:49from the continued arrival of tourists and of investors.
01:53The agreement was also signed
01:55for the New Dumaguete and New Siargao Regional Airports
01:58that, according to the President,
01:59will be adapted to the limited connectivity of the two places
02:02to make it more accessible to tourists.
02:05The government will also ensure
02:07that the new airport will be adapted
02:09to the increasing surveillance.
02:11But beyond the technical aspects,

02:15that they will bring.
02:17These projects shall allow our farmers
02:19to efficiently bring produce to new markets,
02:22tourists to discover more of the charms of these islands,
02:26and entrepreneurs to expand their businesses.

02:35especially job opportunities.

02:39that the government will continue to strive
02:41to implement projects
