00:00The PhilHealth Board has already approved the agency's fund for the next year.

00:05It amounted to more than P200 billion that will be collected from the current budget of PhilHealth.

00:11Part of the fund is the Corporate Operating Budget.

00:14This includes the benefit payment, mandatory operating and expenditure, and capital expenditure.

00:20This is also where the salary will be collected for the employees.

00:23PhilHealth explains why the approved fund is higher because of the continuous increase and expansion of benefits for the members.

00:33The fund will also include some benefits that were approved a while ago,

00:37such as the Oral Medicine and Rehabilitation Package,

00:40Dialysis and Kidney Transplant Benefit,

00:43Heart Surgery Benefit,

00:45and Emergency Care Benefit.

00:47The 9,000 case rate that is expected to be implemented in the next year is also approved.

00:54We will improve more on our collections.

00:57We will make our collections also more convenient for our public or for our members to pay.

01:05Like now, we have an accredited GCash.

01:10It can also be used as a method of payment.

01:13And of course, making sure that everyone can pay.

01:17Also, to make our funds more sustainable,

01:21we will be continuously monitoring our benefits and the utilization,

01:27and of course, improving on our fraud detection.
