00:00Despite their current state, the Department of Social Welfare and Development, or DSWD,

00:05assured the evacuees following the eruption of Canlong Volcano will have a Merry Christmas.

00:11The DSWD will continue to provide assistance to those displaced by the volcanic event

00:16by addressing their food and non-food needs.

00:20Currently, there are over 4,600 families who are staying in evacuation centers.

00:27We will continue to support our fellow countrymen

00:31as part of the augmentation of support to our local government units.

00:36Of course, especially during Christmas,

00:39we don't want them to have a sad experience because of the eruption that displaced them.

00:47So, this time of the year, let's give them happiness,

00:52no matter how much they have the spirit of Christmas.
