00:00The top three betting choices right now, the Canes, Oilers, and a little Dallas hockey,

00:08the Dallas Stars.

00:09Out of the big three, the top three threats, who's impressed you so far going through the

00:13early part of the season?

00:16I think Dallas is a team to take very seriously.

00:20They get deep in the playoffs every single year.

00:22They beat the Avalanche last year.

00:25You know, Colorado is going to have different wrinkles this year if they meet up again.

00:29That central division is an absolute gauntlet.

00:31I didn't even mention Ross Coulton, who was so productive this year.

00:35One of the NHL leaders in goals per game also recently returned for the Avalanche.

00:40So they're loaded.

00:41But Dallas has the deepest team in the NHL on paper, in my opinion, strong goaltending

00:45with Oettinger.

00:47And I think that Dallas has an opportunity here with Tyler Sagan being placed on long-term

00:52IR, and he's out for four to six months.

00:56So Tyler Sagan, if you haven't been checking, is one of the highest paid players in the

01:00NHL because of what he did, you know, six, seven, eight years ago, was a little overpaid

01:04at this point.

01:05So that's money that is now on long-term IR that allows Dallas to make a big splash at

01:11the trade deadline.

01:12So I think they've impressed me the most out of those three teams with Edmonton or Carolina

01:18as comparisons.

01:20And then with the opportunity to make a big splash at the deadline, you could also consider

01:25a Stars future situation here with their ceiling in the Western Conference.
