00:14Doctor Doom. The actor's longtime collaborators, the Russo brothers, are directing the movie,
00:19that has a release date of May 1, 2026. Evans played Johnny Storm, aka the Human Torch,
00:24in Deadpool and Wolverine, reprising his role from a pair of Fantastic Four movies made by Fox
00:29in the 2000s. But he, of course, was best known for playing Steve Rogers-slash-Captain America in
00:34the MCU, where he was a cornerstone of the universe. It's unclear in what capacity Evans
00:39will return or what role he will play, as the new Marvel feature project once again deals with
00:43multiple timelines and universes. The movie is also expected to reunite many actors from the
00:48previous films as well as current ones. Evans retired from the role of Captain America with
00:532019's Avengers Endgame, which saw his character Steve Rogers pass on the Captain America shield
00:58to Sam Wilson. Evans originated the role of Steve Rogers in 2011's Captain America the First Avenger.
