00:00Daniel, what have you learned about your own personal game kind of going off of Fred's
00:20questions since you've been in Washington to now playing on this Mavericks team playing
00:23with Luca playing with clay playing with carry what have you learned have kind of opened
00:27up okay I can do this or maybe I can't do this um just learn the different type of patience
00:33you know it helps me it helped me slow the game down for myself a lot more just being
00:37put in certain positions and just being able to succeed with you know what I got out there
00:42on the floor whether it's rebounding posting up or just you know grabbing uh rebound and
00:48stuff around the rim and going back up with it you know I got him I got one main job and
00:52that's pretty much just being the trash man being the energy guy so I kind of locked into
00:56that and just found ways to do that in the elite level and then I was there for your
01:01first press conference when you were brought to the team and that was kind of one of the
01:04things that you mentioned being the trash man doing all the dirty work for the team
01:07maybe the stuff that maybe everyone else doesn't desire to do where do you think kind of that
01:12mindset came from and if you could just explain to the fans kind of where you got that mantra
01:16from um really it's just you know from where I come from is pretty much just work over
01:25everything having a hard work ethic is some one of the main things that kind of just pushed
01:30me over the edge you know I've seen my mom do it a lot I've seen my dad do it a lot just
01:34to make the sacrifices and stuff that they did to kind of help us and just put us in
01:39position to where we can just be successful when it came to whenever we became adults
01:43and I just kind of took that and took it to the basketball side it just helped push me
01:46to where I am today.
